French Tech Mission welcomes its new director

This Monday, September 30, at the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industry, the "Rentrée de la French Tech" was held, a key moment to bring together the entire tech ecosystem and welcome its new director.

At the event, Clara Chappaz, recently appointed Secretary of State for Artificial Intelligence and the Digital Economy and former Director of French Tech Mission , unveiled the name of her successor: Julie Huguet. Entrepreneur and former President of the “Capitale French Tech Alpes”, Julie Huguet will take up her post in the coming weeks.

Now a recurring event, the “Rentrée de la French Tech” brought together several hundred personalities from the French start-up ecosystem at the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industry: French Tech Capitals and Communities, entrepreneurs, public players and French Tech correspondents from government departments, major groups, investors, associations and partners.

After the official announcement, a panel dedicated to Artificial Intelligence and Research with Maximilien Levesque from AQEMIA, Professor Anne Vincent-Salomon from Institut Curie and moderated by Charlie Perreau from Les Echos, focused on the challenge of building ever stronger bridges between the worlds of research and business, to further strengthen the growth of the DeepTech start-up ecosystem.
