“Je choisis la French Tech” initiative honoured at Rencontre des Entrepreneurs de France 2023

At the Rencontre des Entrepreneurs de France 2023, the French Tech Mission was present, alongside Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister Delegate for the Digital Sector, to present the "Je choisis la French Tech" initiative.

“Je choisis la French Tech”, an initiative to promote public and private purchasing from start-ups

REF2023 (Rencontre des Entrepreneurs de France 2023 for Meeting of the Entrepreneurs of France 2023) was the perfect opportunity to present the “Je choisis la French Tech” initiative, launched by Minister Jean-Noël Barrot in June 2023 and operated by the French Tech Mission.

“Je choisis la French Tech” is the initiative that expresses the ambition to deploy French Tech solutions in all our businesses and administrations.

The initiative already has more than 300 signatory companies and start-ups (including Allianz, Bouygues, CMA-CGM, Payfit and Lydia) and more than 80 institutional partners (including the State Purchasing Department, Business France, the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, the Ministry of the Armed Forces, MEDEF and Capitales French Tech)!

All are committed to supporting the choice for French start-ups.

This was an opportunity for French Tech start-ups and CEOs of major groups to exchange ideas and ideas.

In the presence of the Minister, a number of discussions took place. We welcomed :

  • 12 major groups involved in exchanges – AXA, PMU, EDF, Groupe BPCE, ENGIE, BNP Paribas, Groupe Galeries Lafayette, Fnac Darty, LVMH, Capgemini, Thales and Stellantis

  • 18 ambitious start-up experts – Pigment, Malt, Pasqal, Electra, Skipper NDT, Green Spot Technologies, Sweep, Quandela, Enchanted Tools, Exotrail, Mistral AI, Metron, EcoVadis, My Job Glasses, MyDataModels, Inocel, OpenClassrooms and namR

  • Public institutions, important to the initiative – Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, Médiateur des Entreprises and numeum

  • 8 intersecting business sectors: from mobility and luxury goods to energy and retailing
